Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on hardware and software support to end users
- Support and maintain office telecommunications systems
- Provide technical support for office hardware, including printers and plotters
- Accurately document, track, and resolve IT support requests
- Perform hardware and software installations and upgrades (e.g., RAM, hard drives, video cards)
- Execute new hire and termination IT processes, including creating and removing user, phone, and voicemail accounts, and setting up or retrieving computer systems
- Manage moves, adds, and changes involving hardware, software, cabling, and telephone/voicemail systems
- Build, configure, and deploy end-user computers
- Assist senior IT staff with projects and tasks as assigned
- Travel locally between offices as required
Qualifications
- College or technical school education in an IT-related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
- 2–4 years of experience in an IT support or help desk environment
Work Environment and Physical Demands
Will frequently need to position self to maintain computers and equipment under desks. Will frequently move equipment weighing up to 40 lbs.
