IT ADMINISTRATOR

About the role

JBS is seeking a salaried non-exempt IT Team Member starting at $26.00 per hour. Benefits include paid vacation and holidays, medical, dental, and vision benefits, and a 401(k) plan.

Responsibilities

• Perform building maintenance duties as assigned by supervisor
• Preventative maintenance and repairs on the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Troubleshoot machinery quickly and effectively
• Preventative maintenance and repairs to Rendering equipment such as conveyors, gearboxes, augers, and pumps
• Complete all tasks in the safest and most efficient manner
• Experienced and knowledgeable of high-speed manufacturing/packaging equipment to include hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, valves, cylinders, case formers, labeling equipment, fillers, and conveyors
• Knowledge of welding (S/S, Mig, Tig)
• Day-to-day maintenance and repair to equipment
• Labeling and tagging of systems and/or checks for verifications
• Troubleshoot and repair high-speed food processing and packaging equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems on production equipment
• Support the plant equipment, and maintaining a safe plant meeting all federal, state, and local environmental requirements
• 110v control
• Comply with all safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Support and manage all computer/network components including servers, switches, cabling, and desktop systems at assigned locations
• Program Cisco Switches for Local Area Network
• Document Local Area Network at assigned location(s)
• Document and maintain “Standard Operating Procedures” for site-specific technologies in use at the facility
• Fundamental understanding of VLANS
• Work with end users and propose new hardware and software solutions to support the business
• Test all hardware and software modifications before they are introduced into production
• Provide hardware and software diagnostics for network, hardware, and software issues
