IT Administrative / Customer Service Representative Location: Boise, ID – Downtown Boise Pay Rate: $20.00–$23.00/hour Employment Type: Full-Time | Temporary with Potential for Temp-to-Hire Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8-hour shift + 1-hour unpaid lunch Work Hours: Between 6:00 AM–6:00 PM | Ideally 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Dress Code: Business Casual Work Environment: In-Office Position Summary Kelly® is hiring an IT Administrative / Customer Service Representative to support an internal team at a leading company in Downtown Boise, ID. This role combines customer service, administrative support, and foundational IT/help desk responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills along with basic technical knowledge and the ability to gather information, create help desk tickets, and route service requests to the appropriate technical team. This is not an IT technician position. Candidates do not need advanced technical troubleshooting experience. However, familiarity with computers, software, help desk systems, or basic IT concepts will be highly beneficial. The position supports internal employees rather than the general public, providing professional and responsive assistance by phone and in person. Key Responsibilities Provide professional customer service to internal employees by phone and in person.Gather customer information and accurately document service requests.Create and update tickets within the company's Help Desk ticketing system.Evaluate incoming service and support requests and determine the appropriate technical individual or team for resolution.Route tickets and support requests to the appropriate department or technical resource.Organize and monitor ticket queues to ensure requests are addressed within established service-level expectations.Follow up on open requests and maintain accurate ticket documentation.Communicate clearly with customers regarding the status of their service requests.Assist with basic technical questions and determine when an issue needs to be escalated to IT.Maintain accurate records and documentation.Work collaboratively with technical teams and other internal departments.Perform general administrative duties and other tasks as assigned. Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED.Previous experience in customer service, administrative support, office support, help desk, or a similar role.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Comfortable working with computers and learning new software systems.Ability to accurately enter and document information.Ability to prioritize multiple requests and meet established response-time expectations.Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills. Preferred Previous experience with a Help Desk or ticketing system.Basic understanding of IT concepts, hardware, software, or technical troubleshooting.Experience routing or escalating customer service or technical requests.Previous experience supporting employees or internal customers.Experience with Microsoft Office or similar business applications.
