Education and Experience
- A high school diploma is required.
- An associate’s degree in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Quality Management, or US Naval Nuclear Power School is preferred, along with equivalent experience.
- Five years of general experience in Mechanical Engineering, Design, Boiler/Plant Operations, Site Construction, Manufacturing, Fabrication, NDE, Inspection, or Quality Assurance.
- Two years of nuclear industry experience, including Quality Management and auditing Quality Management Systems.
- One year of experience in ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems and/or 1 year of experience with 45001 Occupational Health and Safety.
- One year of experience with nuclear pressure equipment, especially if it includes materials, site activity, inspection, testing, and engineering services.
Knowledge and Skills
- Working knowledge of ISO standards.
- Excellent communications skills and technical writing.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and team skills, including customer interaction in person, by phone, or email.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and schedule time with minimal supervision and direction.
- Customer-focused approach.
