ISC Supervisor 1st shift

About the role

The Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Supervisor provides team leadership, guidance, and support in manufacturing, quality, material distribution, and production control for areas linked to primary production.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises associates, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning work, appraising performance, and addressing personnel concerns.
• Facilitates traditional and non-traditional production and material distribution activities.
• Interfaces with NNSA, Quality, Engineering, Union, and other support organizations.
• Evaluates individual and team performance to support plant goals.
• Trains and develops employees to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Implements quality policies and disseminates instructions to staff.
• Coordinates production and inspection schedules, documents changes, and arranges material disposition.
• Promotes a continuous improvement mindset.
• Evaluates equipment and facility requirements within areas of responsibility.
• Demonstrates commitment to operational surety and instills this attitude in hourly personnel.
• Ensures compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements (DOT, EPA, OSHA, ICAO, DOE, GSA, Motor Carrier Safety Act) for hazardous materials handling and shipment.
• Implements and adheres to Honeywell policies and the Honeywell Code of Conduct.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related experience, or Associate’s degree and 3 years of related experience, or HS diploma/certification and 4 years of related experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations).
• United States citizenship.
• Ability to work on-site as directed by management.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.

Skills

• Working knowledge of production planning methods and manufacturing/quality operations (preferred).
• Experience analyzing workplace metrics to inform decisions (a plus).
• Ability to lead and motivate in a diverse work environment; prior supervisory experience (a plus).
• Additional certification/experience for certain manufacturing departments.
• Understanding of team building, group dynamics, conflict resolution, and problem-solving.
