IS TECHNICIAN LDAR I
Responsibilities
- Ensure that Health & Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies always, & processes & acting in a safe manner.
- Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting, pulling & pushing heavy objects.
- Perform routine, scheduled inspections of components (valves, connectors, pumps, tanks) to detect leaks of volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
- Maintain analyzers (e.g., Flame Ionization Detectors - FID) and operate, calibrate, and maintain them.
- Record inspection data, tag leaking components, and manage inventory within databases like LeakDAS, GuideWare, SkyBridge.
- Data Management & Reporting: Manage and update records of inspections and repairs.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to environmental regulations (e.g., 40 CFR Subpart 60) and strict site safety protocols.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with maintenance teams to report leaks and verify repairs.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- TWIC, required.
- Confined space entry & 10 Hour OSHA Training (preferred).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and able to work independently.
