IS Tech - Data Processing

About the Role

This full-time position is located at Prime Healthcare Mercy Medical Center in Olympia Fields, IL. The role involves supporting and maintaining computer hardware and software across the hospital campus.

Responsibilities

• Install computer-related hardware and software as needed.
• Support and provide problem determination and resolution for PC software and hardware issues.
• Maintain catalog, software, and hardware inventory.
• Document service activities through the ticketing system.
• Access all areas of the hospital campus to perform computer-related installations.
• Use computers for data entry and PC troubleshooting.
• Summon outside resources when needed to complete installations and support end-users.
• Act as a liaison between end-users and IS, and coordinate issues between software vendors and IS.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (required for all new hires starting 4/1/14).
• Experience with Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems and Active Directory.
• 1-3 years of experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Qualifications

Preferred certifications:

• CompTIA A+
• CompTIA Network+ (N+)
• Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $23.00 to $34.00 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, experience, education, credentials, and licensure.

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours weekly with 8-hour day shifts.
