IS Foreman

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, in Deer Park, TX is seeking a Foreman to join a safety-conscious team. Transitioning military personnel are encouraged to apply, as this role offers an opportunity to leverage existing skills and training.

About the role

The Foreman oversees two or more crews, planning, leading, organizing, and coordinating daily operations. Responsibilities include ensuring proper equipment operation, driving operational efficiencies, maintaining accurate job documentation, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Extensive travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting safely at all times.
• Promote Thompson Industrial’s safety, environmental, and operations policies.
• Manage crews to safely and accurately complete operations.
• Complete and review paperwork documenting work functions in a timely and accurate manner.
• Train and develop equipment technicians (5% of role).
• Interact with customers professionally, exhibiting excellent communication and human relations skills.
• Perform hydro blasting and vacuum truck services.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Wear required protective clothing and equipment, including Nomex coveralls, back belts, slicker suits, rubber boots, fresh air breathing masks, escape packs, and hard hats.
• Work under extreme climate conditions, including high heat (95+°F), 98% humidity, and subzero temperatures.
• Withstand exposure to dust, chemicals, fumes, exhaust, and highly pressurized fluids.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience in the industrial cleaning industry.
• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of hydro blasting and vacuum truck equipment operation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Current certification as an authorized HPC-Industrial driver.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting HPC-Industrial equipment (preferred).
• Extensive travel is required.
