About the role

The Manager manages Epic application and assumes responsibility for new development and existing production support; manages day-to-day individual and team dynamics, work prioritization, fiscal stewardship, and management of all aspects of a project life cycle. The Manager provides mentoring and coaching associated with performance development and project management and makes decisions that influence the project on a large scale.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or Business Administration or related field (preferred)
  • 7 years related healthcare or project and team management experience including two years in a supervisory/management capacity (experience should include leading large, complex system integration efforts or large software application projects)
  • Additional degrees, business training experience and/or certifications may be combined to meet minimum qualifications

  • Computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally
  • Proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard
  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong budget and schedule management skills ensuring the business community is engaged in the project

Physical and Environmental Demands

The physical essential functions of this job include (but are not limited to) the following: Frequently exerting 10 to 20 pounds of force to move objects; occasionally exerting up to 100 pounds of force.
