About the role
The IS Training Educator works as a member of the Training Team, developing and delivering education programs designed to increase end-user competence and productivity in the use of information technologies.
Responsibilities
- Creates and maintains training curriculum, including course descriptions, outlines, practice exercises, tip sheets, assessments, and other educational materials.
- Conducts instructor-led training sessions in both in-person and virtual environments.
- Assists Human Resources with new employee onboarding activities related to training registration, scheduling, and communication.
- Partners with Visual Learning Developers to create eLearning modules by developing process flows and storyboards that align content with learning objectives.
- Collaborates with team members to identify and measure performance gaps by establishing goals, gathering and analyzing data, and implementing improvement strategies.
- Serves as a liaison between Information Services and the clinical end-user community, supporting technology adoption and workflow improvements.
Requirements
- 2 years of applicable experience.
- Bachelor's Degree.

- Ability to work independently and effectively learn and utilize new technologies.
