Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior HRIS analyst and administrator for Workday and other HR technology platforms.
- Support system configuration, security administration, reporting, integrations, testing, and production support.
- Maintain and support legacy PeopleSoft systems during ongoing transitions and operational needs.
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
- Lead business process redesign, workflow analysis, and fit-gap assessments.
- Cook up complex HR technology and business process projects from planning through implementation.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
- Manage project timelines, priorities, risks, and stakeholder communications.
- Lead testing, validation, and deployment of system enhancements and upgrades.
- Develop long-term technology strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Serve as a liaison between Human Resources, Information Services, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Mentor and support less experienced business analysts.
- Provide recommendations on technology solutions that improve operational effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Seven years of experience as a business analyst, systems analyst, functional analyst, or related information technology professional.
- Strong experience supporting enterprise HRIS or HCM platforms.
- Knowledge of systems development lifecycle methodologies and project management practices.
- Experience leading complex technology implementations and business process improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and large-scale projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship management skills.
- Workday administration and configuration experience.
- Experience supporting PeopleSoft environments.
- Knowledge of UKG Workforce Management Pro, Cornerstone LMS, and NeoGov solutions.
- HRIS security, integrations, reporting, and data management expertise.
- Experience with change management and organizational transformation projects.
- Public sector or government technology experience.
