Responsibilities
- Responsible for performing hydraulic and electrical repairs on commercial irrigation systems.
- Supports the Branch Manager or Irrigation Manager with scheduling and oversight of Technician I and II team members.
- Provides hands-on assistance to irrigation technicians with the repair, maintenance, and installation of commercial irrigation systems.
- Serves as an entry point into the irrigation field, with a primary focus on learning system components, troubleshooting techniques, and best practices for commercial irrigation operations.
- Constantly required to talk, hear, see, sit, stand and walk
- Frequently required to reach, bend, twist, stoop, crouch, climb and balance
- Frequent use of hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools or controls
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs, and seldom lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Works with mechanical objects and outside in all weather conditions
- Exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals
- Exposed to loud noise levels
- Occasionally works with low voltage electrical
Qualifications
- At least four years’ commercial irrigation experience
- License or Certification as required by state and federal law
- Valid driver license issued by the state where employed
- Backflow Assembly Tester (BAT) License in state where employed preferred
- Strong sense of customer service and urgency
- Effective oral and written communication
- Able to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Able to work autonomously
- Organizational skills
- Flexibility
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to read, write and comprehend English
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram and/or schedule format

Pay
Pay range: $23.00 - $27
