Irrigation Technician - Golf & Grounds

Qualifications

• Previous experience in irrigation system installation, maintenance, and repair is required.
• Knowledge of golf course maintenance practices and water management for turf grass species is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are necessary.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and take initiative when needed.
• Familiarity with irrigation computer systems and satellite boxes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, monitor, troubleshoot, and repair all components of the irrigation system.
• Maintain accurate inventory of parts in the irrigation room.
• Monitor the irrigation system to ensure efficient operation and make repairs as needed.
• Hand-water dry spots and new sod as necessary.
• Assist in the installation and repair of drainage systems on the golf course.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure proper irrigation and turf health.
