Irrigation Technician

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Irrigation Technicians to support our residential and commercial property portfolio.

This is a 1099 contractor role offering flexible, appointment-based scheduling. Work is assigned based on service calls, maintenance needs, and property requirements, allowing you to accept jobs that fit your availability.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair irrigation and sprinkler systems
• Install and adjust irrigation components (heads, valves, controllers, piping)
• Inspect systems for leaks, coverage issues, and efficiency improvements
• Program and troubleshoot timers/controllers for optimal watering schedules
• Support landscaping teams to ensure proper irrigation coverage
• Communicate job status, findings, and completion updates

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Prior irrigation/sprinkler system experience (required)
• Must have your own tools and basic repair equipment
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, timers/controllers, valves, and zoning
• Ability to diagnose leaks, pressure issues, and system inefficiencies
• Understanding of water conservation practices and local guidelines
• Strong troubleshooting, time management, and communication skills
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
