Irrigation Technician

About the role

We are seeking a full-time Irrigation Technician responsible for operating and maintaining center pivot, corner irrigation, and well pump systems to ensure efficient water distribution for crops.

Responsibilities

• Operate irrigation systems and monitor/adjust water flow
• Conduct regular inspections for leaks or clogs and troubleshoot system issues
• Keep detailed records of irrigation activities, water usage, and maintenance
• Uphold quality, health, and safety standards
• Assist with repairs and perform secondary roles such as tractor or storage line operator

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Ability to remotely operate equipment via laptop or tablet
• Knowledge of electrical systems
• Attainment of a pesticide applicator license within six months (company support provided)
• Basic mechanical skills and a background in agronomy are beneficial
