Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial irrigation systems including controllers, valves, sprinkler heads, drip systems, and piping
- Perform routine system inspections to identify leaks, broken components, coverage issues, and inefficiencies
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic irrigation problems
- Program and adjust irrigation controllers based on seasonal needs, weather conditions, and water restrictions
- Carry out system audits to ensure optimal performance and water conservation compliance
- Repair or replace damaged irrigation components in a timely manner
- Monitor water usage and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Ensure all irrigation systems comply with local and state regulations, including Texas water conservation guidelines
- Work closely with account managers, production managers, and maintenance crews to address client needs and property-specific requirements
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and system adjustments
- Operate tools and equipment safely, including trenchers, pipe cutters, wire trackers, and diagnostic tools
- Respond to service calls and emergency irrigation issues as needed
- Aid in system upgrades, renovations, and new irrigation installations
Requirements
- 2+ years of commercial landscape irrigation experience (Irrigator/Irrigation Tech)
- Valid TX Driver's License
