Job Summary
Bast Hatfield Construction is seeking a Steel Erection, Iron Worker, or Welder to join our team in Clifton Park, NY. The position involves building structural steel and pre-engineered metal buildings on commercial projects throughout the Capital Region.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and erect structural steel components
- Operate welding equipment to join metal components
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to quality standards
- Work on various commercial construction projects
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience in steel erection, iron working, or welding preferred
- Strong physical fitness and manual dexterity
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Proficiency in basic computer skills
