IR Technologist I PRN

Responsibilities

• Scrubs and circulates in procedures assisting the Interventionalist.
• Aids in inventory management and patient scheduling.
• Takes on-call as assigned to provide emergency coverage.
• Assists in patient care through procedures.
• Directly involved in assisting with all procedures and the development of protocols.
• Cross-trains to other procedural areas to achieve comfort in working with new procedures and meet developed competencies.

Requirements

• A graduate of a degree granting program in a health science (includes, but not limited to, respiratory therapy, licensed practical nursing, paramedic, cardiovascular technology, surgical technology).
• A current certification or registration required.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• Related healthcare experience required.
