About the Role

Responsible for preparing and operating interventional radiology rooms tailored to specific studies, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Set up rooms, arrange equipment, and position patients for procedures.
• Verify patient information using electronic systems and follow safety protocols.
• Transfer patients safely using assistive devices and maintain accurate record-keeping.
• Operate fluoroscopy and digital subtraction equipment, manage inventory, and perform post-processing tasks.
• Provide compassionate patient care, interacting with patients and families to create a welcoming environment.
• Complete billing and documentation accurately, and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Completion of formal radiologic technology training.
• Current NYS licensure as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT).
• ARRT Radiography Certification with CE credits.

Qualifications

Preferred: 1+ year of radiologic technologist experience or equivalent education and experience.
