IR Technologist

About the role

Join our Interventional Radiology team in a hands-on role within a fast-paced Angio Lab, supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will circulate, scrub, monitor, and operate advanced IR imaging systems while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current licensure and certifications
• Provide procedural assistance in the Angio Lab
• Operate and manage IR imaging equipment
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and protocols
• Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, and quality control
• Educate patients and ensure their comfort and safety

Requirements

• Graduate from an AMA-approved radiologic technology program
• Current ARRT (R) certification
• BLS certification
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and IR procedures
• Experience with equipment operation and patient safety protocols

Qualifications for Lead Role

• Five years of imaging experience
• Leadership experience
• Bachelor’s degree
• Preferred experience in vascular/interventional imaging
