IR Technologist

About the role

Join our Interventional Radiology team as a Technologist or Lead, providing hands-on support in a fast-paced Angio Lab. You will operate advanced IR imaging systems, circulate, scrub, and monitor procedures while ensuring patient safety and adhering to radiation safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate IR equipment and information systems to produce high-quality imaging
• Support patient identification, consent, and comfort throughout procedures
• Follow safety, coding, and documentation protocols
• Provide patient education and address concerns
• Maintain up-to-date licensure and prepare patients for diagnostic and interventional procedures

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA-approved radiologic technology program
• Current ARRT (R) certification
• BLS certification
• Preferred experience in vascular/interventional imaging
• Certifications such as ACLS, RTRCV, and VIR required or obtainable within specified timeframes

Qualifications for Leadership Candidates

• Five years of imaging experience
• Leadership background
• Bachelor’s degree
