IR Special Procedure Technologist - Lead

About the role

Supervises the daily operations of imaging procedures in the Hospital Imaging Services Department and Outpatient Center, as well as the activities of personnel involved in providing these services. Under the supervision of the Imaging Manager, is responsible for the day‑to‑day operations for the departments. Provides feedback to co‑workers in the form of performance appraisals. Traveling to various facilities is required, and the ability to cover in the clinical areas as needed is essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Successful completion of an accredited Radiology Program.
• Licensure: Required licensure (specific type not listed).
• Experience: Three to five years' experience in a hospital/outpatient imaging setting; prior Lead Technologist or Supervisor experience.
• Certifications: Registered Radiological Technologist (ARRT); Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Other requirements: Employee will be required to drive to off‑site imaging centers.

Preferred qualifications:

• Preferred education: additional or advanced radiology training.
• Preferred licensure: additional state or specialty licenses.
• Preferred experience: further supervisory or leadership experience in imaging.
• Preferred certifications: any additional relevant certifications.
