About the role

Registered Technologist/Multimodality Tech with both administrative and clinical accountability to design a service area. Work with the Director of Imaging Services and IR Clinical Coordinator to plan budget, workflow, and staffing needs. Implements/updates department-specific policies, procedures, and standards with adherence to facility, state, federal, and Joint Commission criteria. Provide leadership in development, optimization, and application of system protocols. Communicates daily all staff and patient-related issues or problems that occur. Provide direction/action to ensure excellence in image quality and patient care employing techniques appropriate to patient age and clinical condition.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Director of Imaging Services and IR Clinical Coordinator to plan budget, workflow, and staffing needs.
  • Implement and update department-specific policies, procedures, and standards in compliance with facility, state, federal, and Joint Commission criteria.
  • Lead the development, optimization, and application of system protocols.
  • Communicate daily on all staff and patient-related issues or problems.
  • Provide direction to ensure excellence in image quality and patient care, using techniques appropriate to patient age and clinical condition.

Requirements

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date).
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support.
  • ARRT-R Radiography (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer certification.
  • Associate Degree.
