IPMDM Sr Application Developer

About the role

Barclays Services Corp. seeks IPMDM Sr Application Developer in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available):

Responsibilities

• Responsible for critical major reference data projects and the handling of urgent live production issues for the ESM Reference Data application.
• Design, develop and improve software, utilizing various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for Barclays customers and colleagues.
• Develop code in line with the delivery team analysis and engage in providing solutions to the analysis that has been submitted.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to more junior Software Engineers to ensure code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
• Stakeholder Management and Leadership, maintaining significant interaction with Operations and Technology teams in multiple locations.

Requirements

• Minimum Salary: $189,592 per year
• Maximum Salary: $195,000 per year

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in software development.
• Experience with Java, Python, or C#.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with ESM Reference Data application.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Skills

• Proficient in industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with unit testing and code optimization.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Pay

Minimum Salary: $189,592 per year

Schedule

Fixed, ‘anchor’ days at an onsite location, as set by the business area.
