Key Responsibilities

  • Aid in product recommendations by providing insights and technical expertise.
  • Create, launch, and manage RWS studies within AOP Connect, aligning with client expectations and objectives.
  • Review and assess the accuracy and relevance of researcher-submitted responses, offering feedback and guidance as necessary.
  • Present study findings to clients during client status calls in a clear and professional manner.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to researchers, utilizing expertise in patents and related technical fields.
  • Oversee the closure of studies, including the preparation of final reports and the administration of researcher rewards.
  • Collaborate closely with other study managers and researchers to ensure the successful execution of research projects.
  • Maintain attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all deliverables.

Skills & Experience

  • An engineering degree with expertise in electrical engineering, physics, or telecommunications (a law degree is a plus).
  • At least 5 years of experience in patent law, including experience in patent search and/or patent examination.
  • Preferably former patent examiner with strong experience in patent searches and the ability to review various patents and technical/scientific literature.
  • Excellent oral presentation and technical writing skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Proven ability to work productively and efficiently with other team members, including study managers and researchers.

  • Actual rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to: position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
  • Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other perks, as outlined in any formal offer made.

Schedule

  • Hybrid/Remote model and Agile work practices.
