IP Litigation Equity Partner

About the role

We are working on a confidential basis with a number of leading Am Law and Vault-ranked firms interested in speaking with established IP Litigation Partners in New York. Opportunities exist across major national and international platforms for partners seeking greater institutional support, stronger cross-selling opportunities, enhanced profitability, or a platform better positioned to grow their existing practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a substantive intellectual property litigation practice, including patent litigation, trade secret disputes, trademark and copyright litigation, and technology-related commercial disputes
• Represent institutional clients capable of supporting a sustainable practice following a lateral move
• Demonstrate a portable book of business with strong client relationships
• Leverage sector expertise in technology, life sciences, telecommunications, or other IP-intensive industries
• Provide opportunities to move with additional attorneys where applicable

Requirements

• Established portable book of business with current billing rates and collections
• Historical originations demonstrating a sustainable practice
• Strong academic credentials and an established reputation within the IP litigation market
• Significant trial experience

Pay

$1,000,000 – $1,500,000+ / Dependent on Practice & Portable Business
