IP Litigation Associate Attorney

About the role

This position is available in the New York office of a highly regarded midsize law firm. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience handling complex IP litigation matters, including patent disputes, gained at a sophisticated law firm. A technical background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics is preferred.

Responsibilities

- Represent clients in patent and other intellectual property litigation. - Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and present legal strategies. - Conduct legal research and prepare documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs. - Participate in client meetings and strategy sessions. - Assist in managing case files and coordinating with experts and witnesses.

Requirements

- J.D. degree from an accredited law school. - Admitted to practice law in New York State. - 3+ years of relevant legal experience. - Strong academic record.

- Experience in patent litigation and other complex IP matters. - Technical background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics. - Excellent analytical and writing skills. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
