About the Role
We are seeking an iOS Developer to join a growing Authentication Engineering team responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and user-friendly authentication experiences within a large-scale mobile banking platform. This individual will play a key role in the implementation of modern authentication capabilities, partnering closely with backend authentication teams, security stakeholders, and mobile engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
- Build and enhance authentication experiences within enterprise mobile applications.
- Integrate mobile applications with backend authentication APIs and token management services.
- Collaborate with security, backend, and mobile engineering teams to support authentication modernization initiatives.
- Develop reusable, modular UI components and scalable mobile features.
- Implement secure authentication workflows and third-party authentication SDK integrations.
- Participate in architectural design discussions and contribute to mobile platform standards.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across authentication and mobile application components.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release processes.
- Ensure mobile applications meet accessibility standards, including VoiceOver support.
Requirements
- 5+ years of native iOS development experience.
- Advanced experience with Swift.
- Extensive experience with SwiftUI.
- Experience working with UIKit and UIKit interoperability within SwiftUI applications.
- Strong understanding of modularized architecture and large-scale mobile applications.
- Experience building reusable UI components and micro-UI architectures.
- Strong understanding of state management patterns (StateObject, EnvironmentObject, ObservableObject).
- Experience with dependency injection and dependency management.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and backend services.
- Strong understanding of authentication flows and secure mobile application development.
- Experience with asynchronous programming using Combine and Async/Await.
- Experience with unit testing and integration testing using XCTest and Nimble.
- Experience using Git and modern source control practices.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting authentication modernization initiatives.
- Experience integrating third-party authentication SDKs.
- Familiarity with token management and secure credential storage.
- Experience working within microservices-based environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automation pipelines.
- Banking, financial services, or highly regulated industry experience.
- Accessibility experience utilizing VoiceOver and iOS accessibility standards.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $72.00/hr.
