IOP Mental Health Therapist

About the Role

Concerted Care Group is seeking skilled, compassionate therapists to provide comprehensive, evidence-based mental health treatment through a collaborative, interdisciplinary model. This role involves building strong therapeutic relationships and delivering high-quality care within an innovative OTP, IOP, OP program.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group psychotherapy for adults in Mental Health and SUD Programs
• Work in person at the Brooklyn Park, MD location
• Develop and maintain person-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans
• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and level-of-care determinations
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment approaches, and symptom management to support insight and empowerment
• Design and deliver engaging psychoeducational and skills groups focused on emotional regulation, coping skills, and mental wellness
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurses, PRP, and fellow therapists to provide integrated mental health care
• Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and discharge planning
• Coordinate care with families, referral sources, and external providers as appropriate
• Demonstrate commitment to excellent patient care, measured through clinical outcomes such as patient retention, attendance, and successful program completion
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of direct clinical experience providing mental health treatment
• Master's degree in counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
• Active independent licensure: LGSW, LCSW, LMSW, LCPC, or LGPC
• Strong working knowledge of CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care
• Comfort using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care and professional growth

Skills & Preferred Qualifications

• EMDR experience is highly preferred
• Comfortable working with both adolescents and adults

Pay & Schedule

• $34-44/hour pending experience
• Full-time, Monday – Friday 5AM/6AM - 1PM/2PM
