About the role
The IOP Clinician at The Recovery Village Palm Beach at Baptist Health is responsible for providing a range of patient care activities, including individual, family, and group therapy, psychosocial and bio-psychosocial assessments, and collaborating with the Treatment Team to develop and coordinate discharge planning.
Responsibilities
- Provides excellent individual, family and group therapy to assigned patients following program curriculum provided by Clinical Director.
- Completes all required documentation ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures, state regulations, Joint Commission standards and Medical Needs Criteria.
- Assesses patient for substance use disorders, risk to self or others and co-occurring mental health disorders.
- Manages aftercare recommendations and support that will prepare patient for maintaining successful recovery.
- Participates in crisis intervention with patients as needed.
- Participates with multidisciplinary teams such as Financial Case Managers to provide appropriate aftercare planning and securing resources.
- Completes documentation daily to meet metrics of 92% completion within compliance.
Requirements
- Master's Degree
- At least two (2) years of clinical experience in the mental health field (additional training may substitute for one year)
- Registered in the state of Florida with one of the following: LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMFT (Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist)
