Responsibilities
- Sign on bonus available: Two years' experience + certification = $20,000
- Less than two years' experience + certification, evening shift = $15,000
- Less than two years' experience + certification, day shift = $10,000
- Non-certification = $5,000
- Sign-on bonus eligible for external candidates only.
- To carry out intraoperative monitoring of EEG or EMG and Evoked Potentials during surgical procedures assisting the surgeon in prevention of neurological deficits.
- To perform routine procedures in the Clinic or hospital EEG, EMG or EP laboratories when not in the operating room.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited institution for neurodiagnostic technology or 2 years equivalent neurodiagnostic tech experience
- Must have current certification in Basic Life Support
- Within two years of employment, specific certification through ABRET - Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation (R. EEG T., R. EP T., CNIM, CLTM and CAP); American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM; CNCT) and/or American Association of Electrodiagnostic Technologists (AAET; R.NCS.T.) is required in the laboratory of hire.
- Associate’s degree preferred
- Experience in routine diagnostic testing is preferred
- Computer skills required
- Ability to work independently and shows proficiency in troubleshooting
- The Certification Examination in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring is strongly encouraged

Compensation range is $35.45 - $53.15 / hour
Schedule
Full Time
Hours/Pay Period: 80
Schedule Details: Monday- Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Rotating on-call schedule and mandatory overtime
Weekend Schedule: Not at this time
