About the event

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) India, in collaboration with the Institute for Development and Communication (IDC), Chandigarh, will organise a stakeholder consultation on July 20 to discuss strategies for promoting safe, orderly and regular migration in the Punjab-Haryana region. The event will be held at The Lalit, Chandigarh.

The consultation, titled "Towards Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration: Insights from the PRAYAS International Migration Mapping Research Report," will present key findings and policy recommendations from the PRAYAS research project, implemented by IOM India in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs. The initiative aims to generate practical insights into migration patterns, decision-making, governance systems and migrant experiences.
