Duties and Responsibilities
- Generate accurate and timely invoices using Excel and/or billing software, including auditing and processing customer-required coding before submission.
- Review, classify, and code vendor and utility invoices prior to payment.
- Research and resolve billing issues or discrepancies.
- Communicate with clients regarding invoice status, corrections, or required documentation.
- Maintain and update invoicing databases to ensure data accuracy.
- Analyze financial data to identify variances and correct errors promptly.
- Collaborate with internal departments to verify and align financial information.
- Create and enhance financial spreadsheets and reporting tools.
- Provide data-driven insights to improve billing accuracy and workflow efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Run daily reports and update dashboards as needed.
- Support general financial analysis and reporting tasks.
- Aid in light administrative duties, including travel arrangements and expense report handling.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting or related field preferred.
- Experience as a Data Analyst, Billing Analyst, or similar role in finance or accounting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, IF statements, etc.).
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
