Position Overview and Responsibilities
As an Investor Relations Specialist at Intel, you will help drive the company's engagement with the investor community, to support a best-in-class global Investor Relations function. This role offers direct exposure to executive leadership and responsibility for engaging with institutional investors and sell-side analysts worldwide.
Financial Analysis/Reporting and Market Analysis
- Analyze quarterly and annual financial results, operating metrics, and long-term strategic initiatives to support external messaging.
- Build and maintain financial models, peer benchmarking, valuation analyses, and investor targeting tools.
- Monitor market trends, shareholder composition, analyst research, and competitor disclosures; synthesize insights for senior leadership.
- Maintain investor databases and track shareholder composition.
- Track feedback from investors and analysts and provide actionable insights to executive leadership.
Global IR Communications
- Assist in the preparation of investor presentations, fact sheets, and FAQs.
- Respond to inquiries from analysts and investors.
- Ensure consistent messaging across all investor-facing materials.
- Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Corporate Strategy, and Communications teams to align disclosures and narratives.
Event Coordination
- Aid in organizing earnings calls, investor conferences, and roadshows.
- Prepare briefing materials for senior executives ahead of investor meetings.
Compliance and Disclosure
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., SEC filings, disclosure rules).
- Support accurate and timely dissemination of financial information.
Data Management
- Monitor stock performance, analyst reports, and market trends.
- Conduct competitive analysis and peer benchmarking.
Capital Markets and Strategy Support
- Support long-term IR strategy, including global investor outreach, ESG engagement, and capital allocation messaging.
- Provide insights into investor sentiment and market expectations.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business with 3 + years of relevant experience.
- Strong financial modeling and Excel proficiency; experience with PowerPoint and data visualization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for public company communications (SEC regulations, Reg FD, etc.) and basic legal concepts around disclosure.
- Experience with IR platforms (investor websites, CRM for IR, earnings call/webcast systems).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of the semiconductor or technology sector is a plus, to contextualize Intel's strategy and performance for investors.
