Investor Relations Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end quarterly earnings process - press releases, earnings decks, prepared remarks, and call logistics - in partnership with the CFO and FP&A.
  • Lead investor targeting, NDR planning, and conference participation; manage relationships with sell-side analysts.
  • Serve as first line of defense on Reg FD compliance and support proxy statement, disclosure, and governance processes with the CFO and General Counsel.
  • Track market intelligence (share price, trading activity, peer performance) and prepare reporting packages for the CFO, CEO, and Board.
  • Own and evolve XTEND's investor story - presentations, fact sheets, FAQs - working closely with the CFO, CEO, and Marketing to keep messaging consistent across all public-facing content.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA a plus.
  • 5-8+ years of experience in investor relations, equity research, sell-side/buy-side capital markets, or corporate finance at a public company, investment bank, or IR advisory firm.
  • Direct experience managing or supporting quarterly earnings processes, NDRs, and investor conferences at a NYSE-listed company.
  • Working knowledge of Regulation FD, SEC disclosure requirements, and NYSE continued listing standards.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; comfort with non-GAAP reconciliations, consensus estimate analysis, and peer benchmarking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the polish to draft CEO/CFO-ready materials under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with IR and market-data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Q4/Notified or comparable IR CRM/webcast platforms).
  • Based in or willing to relocate to the New York metro area; willingness to travel ~20-30%.

Preferred

  • Experience at a newly public company (IPO, SPAC/de-SPAC, or business combination) or building an IR function from an early stage.
  • Familiarity with the aerospace & defense, autonomous systems, robotics, or broader deep-tech/hardware sectors.
  • Experience supporting capital raises (follow-ons, ATMs, PIPEs) from an investor communications standpoint.
