About the Role

Endeavor Catalyst is a rules‑based co‑investment fund that partners with leading founders in markets often overlooked by global investors. This summer internship sits on the small global team responsible for raising and managing the fund’s institutional capital. You will tackle a strategic question about identifying and structuring relationships with the fund’s most important partners, conduct primary research, analyse and score candidate institutions, and help standardise and document the investor offering. The work will be delivered to senior leadership and will shape real fundraising decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Benchmark leading investors: Research how top venture funds, development finance institutions, and fund‑of‑funds define, structure, and service their largest investors. Gather evidence from public sources and conversations, and develop actionable points of view.
  • Analyse and prioritise candidates: Build and score lists of institutional investors and family offices across geographies using public research and the Endeavor network, and make the case for which are worth pursuing.
  • Standardise the investor offering: Work with teams across Endeavor to document each component of the investor offering, define delivery requirements, and create clear, consistent, repeatable descriptions.
  • Build evidence base and reporting design: Reconstruct recent investor deliverables, organise them for presentation, and help shape reporting cadence and content. Scope will be confirmed at the start of the internship.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Student status: Undergraduate junior or senior, or graduate student.
  • Preferred academic background: Finance, Economics, Business Administration, International Studies, or related field (candidates from other disciplines with relevant skills are encouraged).
  • Strong written English; ability to produce clear, senior‑level documents.
  • Comfort with primary research: identifying knowledgeable contacts, asking insightful questions, and persisting despite unanswered emails.
  • Analytical ability with numbers and structure; enjoyment in organising messy information.
  • Interest in venture capital, institutional investing, or emerging markets (prior finance experience welcome but not required).
  • Sound judgment regarding confidentiality; handling sensitive investor information securely.
  • Ability to take direction, exceed expectations, and communicate when clarification is needed.
  • Comfort working in a multilingual, global, cross‑cultural environment across time zones.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the United States for the 2027 year.
