Investor / Partner — USA Deal Team (Growth)

Functional Responsibilities

• Proactively source and field new investment opportunities
• Conduct relevant business and financial analysis, valuation, modeling, deal structuring, and due diligence support
• Conduct and discuss relevant industry and market research and analysis
• Provide high-touch support to portfolio companies post-investment
• Opportunity for research, publishing, and media

Requirements

• 1-4 years of experience in Private Equity, Growth Equity, VC, Investment Management, Consulting, and/or Investment Banking
• Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for data analysis and critical thinking
• Some expertise in one or more of the following areas relevant to crypto: Math, Cryptography, Finance, Econ, CS, Engineering, Philosophy, Social Sciences
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, pattern recognition, and project management skills
• Self-accountability and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work full-time from our New York office
• Ability to interact across cultures and businesses
• Passion for blockchain, fintech, and technology
• Strong ethical code

Preferred

• Prior investment experience in crypto companies, fintech, or tech
• High (but open-minded and flexible) conviction around your own ideas
• Familiarity with relevant crypto tools and forums (e.g., know your way around Crypto Twitter, Dune Analytics, navigating Etherscan contracts)
• Intrinsically motivated to learn about all forms of relevant data
• Strong network within fintech, technology, and crypto
