Investment Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Investment Specialist to join our Investment Advisory & Strategy team in Bangkok. You will lead analysis, mentor junior staff, and deliver strategic insights to clients and management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor junior investment specialists in conducting high-quality investment analysis and market research.
• Monitor, analyze, and evaluate investment portfolio performance, providing strategic insights and regular updates to management and clients.
• Oversee and approve the preparation of weekly market reports, daily investment notes, and advanced macroeconomic summaries.
• Represent the team in fund conference calls, investment seminars, and high-level stakeholder meetings.
• Develop and formulate sophisticated investment recommendations, asset allocation strategies, and tailored wealth management solutions.
• Collaborate closely with investment strategists, advisors, and product teams to drive business growth and product development.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of investment records, compliance, and internal documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
• 2-3 years of experience as an investment advisor or portfolio manager, preferably in the funds management industry.
• Detailed knowledge of investment products, portfolio management techniques, and financial markets.
• Deep understanding of global financial markets, asset allocation, and complex investment products, especially mutual funds.
• Excellent communication and client service skills to build trust and rapport with high-net-worth individuals.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Holding a relevant professional license (e.g., Investment Planner (IP), IC Complex, or CFA candidate/charterholder) is highly preferred.
