Investment Specialist

About the role

This position facilitates client relationship development goals through outbound calling efforts to new and existing mass affluent clients, generating sales opportunities and addressing inbound client inquiries. You will develop an understanding of each client or prospect’s financial situation to recommend appropriate investment solutions and partner with internal lines of business to meet clients’ financial goals and needs.

Responsibilities

• Sales: Promote investment and securities products through outbound sales outreach and calling efforts to mass affluent clients or prospects. Consult with clients and prospects to determine their financial needs and provide solutions from the Bank’s offered products or refer them to banking partners as appropriate.
• Client Service: Facilitate client retention and satisfaction by ensuring timely processing of client requests, workflow, and communication. Provide periodic reviews for clients and answer inquiries regarding their investments.
• Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures throughout activities.
• Relationship Development: Establish rapport with clients to identify financial needs and leverage sales opportunities. Serve as a relationship management point of contact for inbound client calls. Build relationships with internal centers of influence to source new client opportunities.

Requirements

• Minimum Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 1 year of experience, or
  • High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 5 years of experience in Registered Securities Representative.
• Required Licenses or Certifications: Possess valid Series 7, 63, 65, or 66, and state-specific life and health insurance licenses.
• Skills: Knowledge of investment and financial markets.
