The role

You will be a part of the centralized Nomura Asset Management International equity analyst pool reporting to the Director of Research and will support multiple public equity product strategies in the Kansas City office with a focus on companies with greater than $10 billion market capitalization.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct deep, strong fundamental analysis on companies in the financial services sector
  • Create and maintain detailed financial forecasts, models, and relevant industry data
  • Identify, develop and present investment recommendations
  • Expand industry and investment knowledge through meetings with company executives, sell-side analysts, consultants, and industry experts

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in an equity fundamental research role with experience covering the financial services sector
  • Strong track record of performance
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • CFA designation or pursuing CFA designation preferred

  • Role is located in Kansas City. Candidates must be willing to relocate.

Benefits

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $174k and $202k year. Additional compensation and benefits information can be found in the footnotes.

Pay

The base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, corporate and functional title and duties, job-related knowledge and advanced degrees, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, discretionary awards and eligibility for commissions for applicable sales roles in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave).

Schedule

The role is based in Kansas City. Candidates must be willing to relocate.
