About the role

The Funds and Liquidity Operations team supports SWIB's investments through analytical and operational oversight. Key responsibilities include cash forecasting, rebalancing, liquidity management, and operational support for securities finance.

Responsibilities

Monitor cash forecasting and instruct cashflows between accounts as appropriate
Support monthly rebalances and asset transition activity
Facilitate account onboarding and maintenance
Operatively support the agency’s Securities Finance program
Track borrows and loans across all sources and minimize borrowing costs
Track available High Quality Liquid Assets (HQLA)
Serve as operational support for new investment instruments, strategic initiatives, and projects
Develop procedures and internal control documentation
Maintain operational relationships with custodians, FCMs, and Prime Brokers
Identify operational process improvements and recommend solutions

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in investment operations or related industry
Firm grasp of basic accounting principles
Prefer experience with SimCorp Dimension
Demonstrates curiosity, strong analytic and problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication, ability to be adaptive and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment, superb work ethic, attention to detail, team orientation, and commitment to excellence

Qualifications

Has a firm grasp of basic accounting principles
Prefer experience with SimCorp Dimension
