Responsibilities

  • Aid in the due diligence process by gathering data and researching products.
  • Coordinate and track representatives through the first year training program and report on progress.
  • Maintain product files, handle correspondence from investment companies, and ensure files are properly imaged.
  • Support system technology maintenance, including MyView, RightBridge, and Docupace, related to training and promotion.
  • Create and distribute impactful marketing communications across various internal and external channels.
  • Research, develop, and present on various training initiatives such as mutual funds, brokerage, annuities, and other investment subjects.
  • Promote the products and services of the broker/dealer and registered investment advisor.
  • Aid in the promotion and marketing of Modern Woodmen’s variable products.
  • Assist in reviewing, analyzing, recommending, and promoting appropriate field investment research sales tools.
  • Maintain all performance training and reporting.
  • Respond promptly to incoming and outgoing phone calls and emails to and from the field force to provide product information and sales support.
  • Aid in the planning and organizing of events.
  • Track progress towards team initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Ability to pass FINRA Series SIE and 7 within six months of hire, and series 24 and 66 within one year of hire. Time to study during work hours provided.
  • Work towards FLMI designation.
  • Desire to learn the securities business from a marketing and sales perspective.
  • Effective communication, presentation, collaboration, organization, and analytical skills necessary.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams preferred.
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Desire to influence business results through strong relationships with field agents.
  • Proactively manage daily tasks and multiple priorities.

Qualifications

Pay

The hourly pay for this position is $25.75. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications and prior experience.

Schedule

This is a full-time hybrid, hourly position: 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day), Monday- Friday, with flexible start time between 7 a.m.-9 a.m. Hybrid positions work at least four days in office each week. Employees beginning to work in a new hybrid role will be expected to work on-site (five days a week) during the initial training period, which may be up to one year. Hybrid work arrangements are subject to change at any time based on business needs.
