Investment Manager
Job Description
You will provide support and manage client portfolios. You will proactively communicate with existing clients and administrators about their accounts, including the reporting of investment activity and performance. You will study research and trends in portfolio management and stay informed of developments in the capital market. You will consult with clients to develop investment objectives and provide guidance. You will stay abreast of the market and economy and be able to provide advice of legal and tax consequences of investment decisions. You’ll prepare reports and presentations for your own client meetings.
Requirements
- This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Business and 1-3 years related experience or 7-9 years equivalent experience in financial markets.
- Pursuit of professional credentialing such as CFA, CFP, CIMA, or equivalent.
