About the role
As an Investment Group/Investment Related HR Manager, you will partner closely with the Investment Group/Investment Related Senior Managers to support Capital Group's global investors. You will be an integral part of the investment unit coordination work, overseeing key processes and helping ensure the smooth and effective operation of the investment units. You will represent the IG/IR team on various technology workstreams and help manage the IG/IR technology roadmap. Working closely with HR specialist groups, you will play a critical role in connecting the Investment Group/Investment Related team with the broader HR function. You will also lead by example, fostering collaboration and contributing to the continued growth and development of the Investment Group/Investment Related HR team.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Investment Group/Investment Related Senior Managers to support global investors.
- Oversee key processes to ensure smooth and effective operation of investment units.
- Represent the IG/IR team on technology workstreams and manage the IG/IR technology roadmap.
- Connect the Investment Group/Investment Related team with the broader HR function.
- Foster collaboration and contribute to the growth and development of the IG/IR HR team.
- Lead by example in complex managerial structures with rotating reviewers and player-coach reporting relationships.
- Build meaningful relationships and establish trust across diverse stakeholders.
- Facilitate successful meetings with diverse audiences and sizes.
- Provide thought leadership, education, and practical tools to managers and associates.
- Lead organizational change and navigate transitions.
- Translate insights into actions that advance business and organizational objectives.
- Influence talent and organizational decisions to support business priorities.
- Lead projects through their life cycles, demonstrating resilience in ambiguous situations.
Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant HR experience supporting leadership teams within complex organizations.
- Experience partnering with and influencing multiple senior leaders and leadership teams.
- Strong consultative and relationship-management skills to build credibility across diverse stakeholders.
- Experience working in highly matrixed environments to plan, execute, and communicate measurable impacts.
- Skilled communicator with a focus on authenticity, respect, and engagement.
- Extensive experience providing thought leadership and practical tools to managers and associates.
- Expertise in leading organizational change and navigating transitions.
- Ability to connect the dots in complex and ambiguous situations.
- Quick understanding of business priorities and effective influence on talent decisions.
- Project leadership experience and familiarity with project life cycles.

Pay
Southern California Base Salary Range: $159,354-$254,966
New York Base Salary Range: $168,924-$270,278
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, you will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus, and a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings. Temporary positions in the United States are excluded from the above-mentioned compensation and benefit plans.
