Investment & Corporate Banking – Power & Utilities, Analyst
Job Summary
Investment & Corporate Banking Analysts are directly involved in the design, origination, structuring and execution of financial advisory, global capital markets, financial risk management, structured & syndicated finance, and other global products and services for existing and prospective clients within the Power and Utilities sector. Analysts are expected to understand the implications, identify key industry trends and provide input on pitch and deal material to enhance the ultimate deliverable.
Qualifications
- An undergraduate degree with academic coursework in finance, economics or accounting and an outstanding record of academic achievement
- A minimum of 1 years investment banking, corporate finance and capital markets experience with a top tier bank
- Knowledge of corporate finance, securities, financial markets and risk & pricing analysis
Skills
- Exceptional skills in quantitative analytics, financial modeling and credit analysis
- Aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information and develop insights and/or product solutions
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
- Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to convey ideas
- Creativity and intellectual curiosity
- Able to work independently and must be able to work effectively in a team environment
- Advanced proficiency with FactSet, CapitalIQ, Bloomberg, Microsoft Office
Benefits
The expected base salary ranges from $110K - $130k. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
