About the role

As an Investment Consultant (IC) at Schwab, you have the opportunity to learn and grow within our Branch Network at the ground floor. The IC role provides the exposure and experience required to advance in this challenging space.

Responsibilities

• Learn and grow within our Branch Network
• Uncover opportunities through needs-based analysis and position appropriate products and solutions
• Observe and learn from skilled Financial Consultants (FCs)
• Deliver unparalleled value and service through collaboration and mentoring

Requirements

• A valid and active Series 7 license
• A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license
• A valid and active Life and Health Insurance license
• 2 years of experience in the financial services industry (preferred)
• Leverage Business development experience
• Passion for gaining knowledge of brokerage/banking products and services
• Openness to build strong client relationships

Qualifications

• A valid and active Series 7 license is required (license may be obtained under a condition of employment through Branch Network Licensing Program)
• A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license is required (license(s) may be obtained under a condition of employment)
• A valid and active Life and Health Insurance license is required (may be obtained under a condition of employment)
• 2 years of experience in the financial services industry (preferred)
• Ability to leverage Business development experience
• Passion for gaining knowledge of brokerage/banking products and services
• Openness to build strong client relationships
