Investment Consultant - Denver, CO (Downtown Denver)

About the role

The Investment Consultant (IC) role at Schwab offers the opportunity to gain foundational experience in financial consulting. This position serves as the initial step towards becoming a Financial Consultant (FC), providing exposure to the process of building a client base through outbound calls and product recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Proactively reach out to existing Schwab clients through outbound calls
• Analyze client needs to identify potential opportunities for additional services
• Position appropriate brokerage/banking products and solutions based on client needs
• Collaborate with and learn from experienced Financial Consultants (FCs)
• Deliver exceptional service and value through strong client relationships

Requirements

• A valid and active Series 7 license (may be obtained under a condition of employment)
• A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license (may be obtained under a condition of employment)
• A valid and active Life and Health Insurance license (may be obtained under a condition of employment)

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in the financial services industry
• Leverage of business development experience
• Knowledge and understanding of brokerage/banking products and services
• Openness to building strong client relationships

Pay

This role is eligible for a competitive salary and bonus/incentive opportunities.
