BTIG is seeking an experienced Vice President to support the Investment Banking team in the M&A and Strategic Advisory group in New York. The candidate will be involved in all facets of BTIG's investment banking activities, including equity and debt, public and private market offerings, merger and acquisition advisory, and other investment banking advisory services. BTIG offers a unique environment combining a highly entrepreneurial platform focused on growth companies with the analytical rigor and transaction experience of a bulge bracket investment bank.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate transaction processes, including capital raise and advisory transactions
  • Prepare offering memoranda, proposals, and other written materials for client meetings
  • Lead the preparation of company valuations, financial models, and industry-specific business development presentations
  • Perform research and analyses to support new business generation
  • Organize and participate in marketing and client meetings
  • Lead and participate in drafting sessions for transactions
  • Conduct industry and company-specific due diligence related to transactions
  • Interact with corporate clients, private equity firms, venture capital firms, and senior bankers
  • Assist in developing and cultivating client relationships
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop tailored recommendations for clients
  • Supervise and mentor junior bankers

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in investment banking
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively in presentations
  • Ability to express complex financial strategies in an organized and articulate manner
  • Strong work ethic, detail orientation, and passion for excellence
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Highly organized, proactive, energetic, and decisive with high integrity
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Proficiency with relevant banking-related databases/applications (Bloomberg, CapIQ, etc.)
  • Ability to use firm-sponsored AI tools
  • Demonstrated leadership in team settings
  • FINRA Series 63 & 79 licenses
  • Authorized to work full-time in the U.S. (BTIG does not offer sponsorship for work visas)

Pay

The estimated base salary range for this role is $230,000.00 - $260,000.00 per year. Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus or overtime.
