About the role

The Insurance Investment Banking Group at Piper Sandler is seeking an experienced Vice President to join their team. This group is known for its top-ranked services to insurance services firms, insurance underwriters, and financial sponsors.

Responsibilities

• Lead junior bankers throughout a transaction, including reviewing work, setting expectations, and providing constructive feedback.
• Provide analytical and financial modeling skills to support client needs.
• Build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Write compelling selling memorandums and presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of investment banking experience; MBA degree and 3+ years of investment banking experience.
• Meaningful M&A transaction experience, particularly in sell-side M&A and the insurance industry.
• Strong business writing skills, including the ability to write compelling selling memorandums and presentations.
• Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Effective client management skills.

Pay

The anticipated starting salary for individuals expressing interest in this position is $250,000 per year. Placement within this range is dependent upon level of experience, location, and other factors. This position is eligible for annual incentive compensation which will be a part of the total compensation. Total compensation for this position will be competitive with the market.
