Investment Banking - Technology
About the role
We’re looking for an investment banker to join the Technology Group in New York. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across the globe to provide clients with seamless transaction execution and advise public and private clients across all industries and geographies on mergers & acquisitions, sales of companies/divisions, and shareholder activism/takeover defense.
Responsibilities
- Create partnerships by increasing depth and breadth of existing client relationships
- Increase the returns of products and services
- Generate new ideas and creative approaches that push the business forward
- Manage a team and plan overall resource requirements, including recruiting, developing, and retaining talented individuals
- Make sound and balanced judgments within professional, ethical, regulatory, and legal standards
- Motivate and inspire others by providing a vision of shared goals
- Explore how AI can improve workflows, validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use
Requirements
- Experience in originating and executing public and private technology transactions
- Ability to work effectively with both corporate and private equity clients
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in all relevant financial analyses
- Demonstrated track record of taking initiative and managing teams
- Undergraduate degree required; MBA or JD preferred

Pay
The indicative gross base salary range for this full-time role in New York, New York is USD 325,000 per annum. The expected salary will be determined by relevant factors including role-required experience, qualifications, education, location, and skill level. UBS offers a range of competitive benefits and may provide additional variable compensation or awards at its sole discretion.
